Garden City Realty REALTOR®, Drew Streett, Receives SCR REALTOR® Award
Garden City Beach, SC – January 11, 2021 – Garden City Realty, Inc., a full-service real estate firm, is pleased to announce that Drew Streett received the prestigious, SCR REALTOR® of the Year Award.
In a virtual ceremony held December 15, the South Carolina Association of REALTORS announced its 2020 SCR award winners, naming Drew Streett SCR REALTOR® of the Year.
A member Board or Association REALTOR® of the Year is selected each year with nominations opening in the spring. REALTOR® of the Year candidates are submitted by local boards or associations. The yearly winner is typically announced in a ceremony at SC REALTORS® (SCR) Annual Convention in the Fall. However, due to COVID, this year’s award ceremony was announced by SCR virtually on December 15, and broadcasted live over its Facebook page and YouTube channel. State REALTORS® of the Year are also recognized by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
Streett has been with Garden City Realty since 2001 and has held many state and local REALTOR® association leadership positions. Most recently, he served as the 2019 President of the South Carolina REALTORS®.
Some of his roles at the Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) include: 2009 president, 2010 REALTOR® of the Year, and past chairman of the Legislative Committee.
Likewise, some of his REALTOR® service at SCR includes: 2011-2012 regional vice president, parliamentarian of the Executive Committee, and past graduate of SCR’s LeadershipSCR program. He also holds the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.
Streett is a past recipient of the REALTOR® Image Award and the Guy Kates Rotarian of the Year award. He has also been recognized at Garden City Realty for several listing and selling awards including: Top Producer, Listing Agent of the Year, and Selling Agent of the Year.
